Board Job Description
Committees:
Family Selection & Support – Recruit prospective families that meet the criteria, screen, interview, and recommend families for home ownership. Work directly with families after they have been selected to partner with Habitat.
Community & Church Relations – Develop strong partnerships with local churches. Build community awareness of Habitat through media, recognition events, and other strategies.
Finance - Develop financial plans and monitor the finances of the affiliate.
Fund Development – Plan and coordinate fund raising, secure grants and material donation from the community.
Site Selection & Construction – Review new building policy, site selection, construction planning and
implementation.
